First off, I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I did! My sister came home from NYC for the weekend and on Friday night we went out for dinner in the city for her birthday, which is in a few weeks. My sister really wanted to go to dinner at Gaslight, which is a french restaurant in the South End. We’ve been there many times and its one of our favorite restaurants in Boston.      

   I am a horrible blogger and forgot to take pictures of the food I ordered but I’ll tell you what I got anyway. I started with a kale salad that had a buttermilk vinaigrette and it was amazing! My mom had a beet salad that was also amazing and my sister and dad split some oysters. Then for our main course My mom, my sister, and I all had steak frites. Its the only main course I’ve ever had there, its just so good I don’t want anything else when I go there. My dad had pork which he said was also very good. Along with my dinner I had White Peach Sangria and it was delicious.

After we finished dinner it was still early so we we went over to Copley Plaza for an after dinner drink. I had a La Fresca Havana, which is basically a strawberry mojito.    My sister and I also had a small photoshoot in the Colpey Plaza bathroom.   

After our drinks we walked around Copley Square and Newbury Street a bit before heading home.
