What I ate Wednesday

I’ve talked before about how I’m trying to be healthier. I love watching these on youtube, I think they are a great way to get recipe ideas and to see what other people’s eating preferences are, because I’m nosy. Since I like looking at these I thought I would make one!
Breakfast:
I had plain greek yogurt with blackberries, raspberries, and dark cherries with a half a serving of vanilla almond granola.This is my go to breakfast and it has a lot of protein and fiber in it so its a good start to the day.
I usually take this to go and eat it at work but, today I didn’t have to be to work until a little later so I ate it in bed while browsing social media and watching some Netflix!

On my way to work I also got a coffee which isn’t pictured but I always get a black iced coffee and put a dash of cinnamon in it.
Lunch:
There is a restaurant called Sweetgreen down the block from my office in Boston and I’ve been obsessed with it. I usually go there 1-2 times a week. All their salads are so good and its a great healthy alternative to all the fast food restaurants. This time I had the roasted veggies and chicken salad and it was by far the best salad I’ve had there. If you get the chance to go there this summer, this salad is seasonal :(,  I would definitely recommend that salad.
With the salad I also got the Cucumber Ginger Limeade. This wasn’t my favorite. The cucumber flavor was very strong and it almost tasted like pickles, and I really do not like pickles.

Snack:
On the way home I got a bubble tea from a food truck. This was my first time trying bubble tea and I got a mango green tea. The bubbles were chewier than I expected but overall I really enjoyed the tea and would get it again.

Dinner:
For dinner I had pierogies and grilled chicken strips with siracha on the side to dip my chicken in, I hate ketchup but I love anything spicy. This isn’t the healthiest dinner but we didn’t have many options in the house and I had a pretty good workout to make up for it.

I also drank a lot of water throughout the day and I don’t drink soda or anything except water, coffee, and tea except on special occasions. I’m thinking of maybe doing a monthly Get Healthy With Me post if you guys are interested.
