This week I have been hyper-aware of all the bad habits I have been making. After waking up still wearing make-up a few days in a row and being burt to a crisp on a hot day I decided to make a list of all my bad beauty habits and try to make the effort to change them.
  1. Not taking my makeup off at night. I do this about once a week. I always feel gross in the morning and regret it and I always do it again.
  2. I do not wash my brushes nearly as often as a I should.
  3. I have never owned heat-protectant spray. I have never used heat protectant spray before flat ironing my hair.
  4. Keeping makeup I don’t use for YEARS. It just sits there.
  5. Keeping chipped nail polish on for way too long/ purposely chipping nail polish when I’m bored.
  6. Picking my Mascara off.
  7. Pumping the mascara bottle even though I know it dries it out quicker.
  8. Not drinking enough water. This isn’t just bad for your health but it dries out your skin as well.
  9. Getting stuck in a makeup rut. I often keep doing the same makeup over and over because I get stuck in a routine and don’t try new things.
  10. Not wearing sunscreen. You should always wear sunscreen! I went to the beach this weekend and got so burned because I was stupid and didn’t put sunscreen on. I will most likely get pre-mature wrinkles and possibly skin cancer because I burn so easily (knock on wood!)
