OOTD: A DAY IN BOSTON

Monday, September 21, 2015

This past weekend I decided to go home for the weekend because it was my mom’s birthday and I wanted to celebrate it with her.
We went into Boston and wandered around Downtown Crossing before heading over to East Boston for dinner. I dressed casual for the day. I wore a t-shirt dress from Target with a flannel from Uniqlo tied around my waist, some black riding boots and a black faux-leather backpack from Forever 21.

I wanted to hit up the new Primark store that recently opened in Boston. It's Primark’s first store in The States and I have been patiently waiting for the store to open since I left London in May. Primark was everything I hoped for and more. It was amazing, they had crowd control so it wasn’t a complete mob scene which is nice because if you have ever been to the Oxford Street store in London you know it can be hell. I picked up quite a few things there so expect a haul soon!
While we were in Boston for the day we decided to go to our favorite restaurant in East Boston called Rino’s Place. It’s an amazing Italian restaurant that always has a long wait because the place is so small but the food is delicious. We found out about the restaurant awhile ago from it being featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. We got there at 5 and had to wait about an hour which worked out for the perfect dinner time. We started with a calamari appetizer which is amazing and I highly recommend getting it. Then for my main course I got gnocchi which was to die for. Also their portion sizes are huge so you get quite a few meals out of it.

I hoped you liked this post!
See you soon!
