At the beginning of the year I set some goals for myself (which you can read here) and I thought I would talk about how I've done so far.

Lets start things off with my blog. I mentioned in my goals post that I wasn't very happy with my old blog and in January I moved hosts (its not self hosted yet but it was a change in the right direction for me) and completely redesigned my site which I have been very happy with. I've also been trying to step up my photography game which I know still needs some work but I've been pretty happy with it this past month.
Along with my blog goals I had some personal goals that basically consisted of getting in shape and being a healthier me. I know, I know just about everyone makes this New Years resolution and never stick with it ( I've made it just about every year since High School and it never really lasted more than a week) but this year i've made a big effort to keep up with it. I've been going to the gym or doing some form of exercise 3-4 times a week and have been eating fairly healthy without completely depriving myself when I;m craving something unhealthy, its all about balance! I've also significantly boosted the amount of water I drink (and boy do I have to pee constantly!) and it has been really good for me.

I have been so healthy this past month, regularly working out has really boosted my mood and has given me more energy in all aspects of my life. I'm really happy that I've stuck with my resolutions and I'm going to continue to stick with them throughout the year and I know its gonna be a good one!
