WATER CHALLENGE HALF WAY CHECK IN

Hello All!

If you didn't read my first post about my Water Challenge you can read it here. So I am officially halfway through my 30 day challenge! WAHOO!

I thought I would update you on how the challenge has been going so far. I'm not going to lie to you and say I was perfect and drinking enough water everyday is a breeze cause its not lol. Out of the last 15 days I probably missed my daily goal about 4 times which isn't great but everyone makes mistakes and everyone has those days (oh childhood.). But honestly this challenge is all about being aware of how much or how little water I'm drinking and not necessarily meeting the goal every single day (positivity people!).

Okay time to move away from my failures and on to how the challenge has made me feel. This part my get a little TMI so sorry in advance! The days I did drink the full 2 liters of water I didn't find it hard to drink it all because I was very aware of how much I had drank. BUT when I was up and about and doing things I didn't really pay attention to time or how much I was drinking (which ended up being very little) and that's when I failed. All this drinking more water thing has done horrible things to my body (its actually really good for your body but ya know... dramatics) and I had to pee literally every 15 minutes and I already felt like I had to pee a lot when I drank barely any water so it is bad. And it has gotten to the point where I am waking up at 4 in the morning to pee which has not been very good for my sleep schedule either!

The challenge hasn't been all negatives though! Drinking more water has helped a lot with bloating, I feel like I've gotten rid of a little water weight, and has been good for stopping overeating! apparently hunger and thirst have the same signals so you tend to eat when your body is really thirsty and I have noticed that I will eat smaller portions than I used to because I feel fuller faster.
